I have contributed to engine research and development through technical publications, focusing on improving thermal efficiency and combustion characteristics. One of my key studies evaluated the JAZARI mechanism, a novel engine mechanism designed to enhance piston speed near top dead center (TDC), resulting in faster combustion and improved power output.
Using 1D engine simulations calibrated with engine test cell data, my research demonstrated:
1.2% increase in thermal efficiency
3.1% increase in indicated torque
30-bar reduction in peak firing pressure, improving boost potential and reducing stress on engine components
This study showcases innovative advancements in engine kinematics and provides a foundation for future research in high-efficiency internal combustion engines.
